Southwest Alberta Regional Search and Rescue Society Gears Up for the Winter
Working and training year-round in adverse weather conditions, volunteers at Southwest Alberta Regional Search and Rescue Society (SARSAR, formerly known as Pincher Creek Search and Rescue) need the right gear. Pieridae’s $2,000 donation will go towards equipment the team needs to stay protected from the elements.
“SARSAR recognizes and greatly appreciates Pieridae's commitment to safety and support of the community,” says Kara Kulak of the organization. “This donation will equip more of our members with high-quality uniform jackets and help rescuers remain warm and dry when training and responding to calls.”
