Pieridae Energy Canada is a Canadian integrated liquid natural gas company, with a strategy to build a long-term, low cost integrated energy business selling into higher priced and growing international markets. The company has natural gas assets located in Alberta, Quebec and New Brunswick and expects continued growth in upstream resources as we move toward construction and operationalization of our LNG facility in Nova Scotia.

Job Title: Vice-President, LNG 

Department: Operations

Location: Calgary, Alberta

Position Summary: 

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this position is a senior leadership role that will lead the Goldboro LNG Project in developing the open book estimate (OBE) through to plant start-up and commissioning in 2025-2026. The position requires that you apply knowledge and experience gained from extensive design and execution of LNG facilities including building a team of professionals to help manage this large project.

You will work with the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contractor Kellogg, Brown & Root (KBR) during the OBE phase and help negotiate the EPCC fixed price contract. Within the next year, you will be expected to provide extensive assistance for our key stakeholders, including the Finance Department, as they build an investor slate that will support a final investment decision (FID) announcement next year. For this effort, you will be expected to travel on occasion to Nova Scotia and outside Canada.

Job Title: Facility Engineer

Location: Caroline Gas Complex (28km Northwest of Sundre, Alberta)

Position Summary: 

Reporting to the Technical Engineering Manager, this highly dynamic role is responsible for providing technical engineering support to ensure safe, efficient and compliant operations. The Facility Engineer must possess a high level of knowledge of the organization’s standards, procedures, codes, specifications, as well as industry best practices across multiple engineering disciplines. This role must exercise independent judgment in interpreting information to resolve production, facility and operational challenges while making decisions and recommendations aligned to the business needs. This is a full-time employee position located at our Caroline Gas Complex.
